Self Transportation of Outdoor Rental Equipment
Northern Explorer Supply encourages its rental customers to self-transport the premium gear it rents--like Crescent kayaks, HONU inflatable paddleboards, and Tentsile Tree Tents--to any location they desire--even if hundreds of miles away!
We are unique in that we do not have a set mileage radius for customers who elect to transport recreational equipment on or inside their vehicles.
In fact, travelers and locals who are crossing into Maine or New Hampshire from their home state to enjoy a trip to places like Acadia National Park, Sebago Lakes, Rangeley Lakes, Belgrade Lakes, Moosehead, Baxter, the Allagash, or the White Mountains appreciate being able to quickly jump off I-95 or Route 1 in York to pick-up gear that they were able to reserve online in advance.
NES lets their rental customers borrow (at no cost) foam cradles, straps, and ratcheting ropes, and similar devices to secure the outdoor recreational equipment they rent from us.
