Customer-chosen excursion location precautions and procedures.

Location choice is subject to review prior to the start of your rental period for your own safety and other benefits. NES will contact the Lessee with any immediate concerns such as accessibility, acute water or terrain hazards, etc. If there are clear dangers, NES will ask that we choose a different location or will provide you with a refund if that is not of interest to you. Your safety is important to us!

Please research the conditions for where you will be recreating before your outing. There are often invisible obstructions during low tide, rip currents, and other variables when it comes to water in this area. Trail conditions are also variable. Tide charts and navigational charts and other resources can be found on our website under "Preparedness" within the menu bar.

NES does not allow anyone to use paddling equipment along the shoreline of the open ocean or on the open ocean. We do not allow paddling in beach areas, within swells, or among crashing waves--these are exposed areas by our standards. Only inshore/inland "protected" bodies of water can be paddled in when using our services and gear. You can read more about this restriction within the Contract or Agreement documents during Checkout.

Please remember to arrive within 5 minutes of the desired equipment delivery and retrieval times. This allows us time to provide you with the entirety of our services without causing us to be late for other rental parties who are counting on us, too.

If you need to make minor adjustments to your pick-up time, please text or call anytime while on your outing to do so. We can usually (not always) make an accommodation to retrieve equipment before or after your originally scheduled return time.

The Lessee who booked the reservation or an authorized member of that person's party must be present to accept or turnover the equipment at the time of drop-off and pick-up unless prearranged with an NES staff member.

Have fun and thank you!
